Physical Education

Welcome to Physical Education!

Physical exercise strengthens muscles and cardiovascular system.  Exercising regularly improves the immune system; helps prevent diseases such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.   It is also known to improve your mental health and prevent depression.

When adults think of exercise we imagine working out in the gym and lifting weights.  For children, exercise means playing and being active.  Children take part in aerobic exercising by running, jogging, walking, playing soccer, basketball, bicycling and swimming.

In our physical education class we make sure that our students understand the importance to exercise and making it a lifestyle.  We teach them how important it is to eat three meals a day and to balance a healthy diet. Our goal is to expose the students to various activities and have them find their passion.
As parents establish a regular schedule for physical activity and help your child begin a daily routine.  Be a positive role model by taking part in a healthier lifestyle; and finally have fun, so your child can come back for more.
